My 8-year-old has been using flashcards for months but still can't retain multiplication facts quickly. We've tried games and apps, but nothing seems to stick long-term. Does anyone have strategies that worked better than traditional methods? I'm wondering if hands-on manipulatives or a completely different approach might help more.
