Oh ... and although one of the books says it's for little kids I find that many of the art experiences are suitable for all ages. She suggests how to increase the level of difficulty. The library has them.

Not sure about you but we love art/handiwork around here but I always get to Thursday evenings (Friday is handiwork day) and find myself racking my brain to come up with something useful, fun yet instructive. I scour the internet and love some ideas but don't honestly want 5 robins that all look the similar up on my wall! I was looking for something more technique driven but not boring where the outcome would vary by child. I ran across a series of books that look great and I will use them to make our art days fabulous - thought I would share. Art Lab series by Susan Schwake.
