Here is the video page for Analytical Grammar (AG). More videos are available on the right column.  I have found that there are several very different grammar teaching strategies. (the correction type as IEW promotes, the systematic mastery approach of AG and others who teach a little bit each year). 

Our kids were public schooled for several years.  We have opted for waiting until the kids are older before we intentionally teach grammar.  Before grade 6 they will likely pick up basic things like noun and verb as well as "ly words" as a writing strategy and how some words sound like they go together in a clause/phrase (because clause and who which clause).  We used the School House Rock Videos for fun so I guess you could say that was the extent of grammar teaching.

We saved the words 'modify', preposition, pronoun, comma, sentence diagram and verbal until we did AG this year for the older two (grade 6 and 7).  I am amazed at how they are picking it up (me too).  I encourage memorization of pronoun and preposition lists etc more than AG does and I have made flash cards of major points for them to aid in learning.  I often take their lessons and make one lesson into two days because for us, other than the video, the real learning is in the marking which we do together.  We have found the marking sessions to be a little long for one exercise a day (but I have two children doing it at once which likely increases this time). In the long run, I don't know how it will work, but for now this feels like a good fit for our family.

It might be worthy to note that our grade 6 girl is very visual and AG uses sentence diagramming. (I had no clue what that was 6 months ago).  She sometimes complains that when she is reading the bible or other books for pleasure that she finds herself from time to time picking the sentence apart and identifying the prepositional phrases etc when she doesn't want to.  I think this is very cool for studying scripture! She's not so sure.    :)
