Could potentially be at the same time a fairly fantastic post that marilyn and i clearly loved comprehending. Usually not regularly of which see the the chances to buy a device. bk8
We are starting to use Mango (this is an electronic resource available at the library). We are using it mostly for Spanish as I don't have the accent down even remotely. Little Pim is available there for free as long as you have a London Public Library card number. The Learnables looks very promising for when we start a more structured school day.
Lisa! I'm biligual too! I have one French resource I will purchase when my kids are older and we are moving beyond the spoken stage. http://www.theeasyfrench.com/index.html For now, since they are young and language is learned best in a relaxed, informal, oral setting I just switch into French mode every now and then. Nothing too formal but it's amazing to me how easily they understand and transition when we are out for a walk and I point to the bird and say 'Regardez! Un oiseau!' And then 'Vite! Il y a une voiture!' They love it really and so easily adapt the language into the next outing when they are pointing at a passing car saying 'voiture'. :) I am also finding that they enjoy the odd French video ... like Carmen Campagne. Musical and repetitive. Wendy
Hello! We will be working a little bit more diligently on developping our French and would love to hear about different resources y'all have found helpful. I am bilingual myself but finding that I need some structure to get going.
